Journal Scope

Our library journal is devoted to advancing space technology, improving aerospace organizational structures, studying historical perspectives, and inspiring creative problem solving through the dissemination of original archival research papers, articles, and visual art. Simply put, a journal of spaceflight for a peaceful spacefaring civilization.

The journal will be available free from our website, no subscriptions required.

Topics to consider in respective fields.

  • Astronautical Engineering: All topics related to Astronautical Engineering are welcome for articles or research papers.
  • Infrastructure: Broad aerospace perspectives are considered when reviewing submissions for infrastructure related articles or research papers. 
  • History: Historical research or article submissions don’t necessarily have to be directly related to spaceflight, analogical perspectives or general thought provoking lessons are welcome. If you were on a mission in deep space, what topics from history would you like to read about?
  • Arts: Historical tribute art, concept art, and science fiction space art are all welcome for submissions.

Submission Guidelines

Research Papers and Articles: We adhere to AIAA style guide for authors. Furthermore articles must also have strong support and elaboration with works cited.

Space Art: Submissions should be in high quality image file formats such as .jpg or .png.

Style guidelines: Our journal uses AIAA standards. Submit your manuscript using the AIAA style guide for authors.

Abstract Submission Closes: November 1, 2020

Space Art Intent Submission Closes: November 5, 2020

Manuscript Submission Deadline: December 15, 2020

Space Art Submission Deadline: December 19, 2020
